How the Waitlist Works

This Waitlist is specifically designed for serious buyers and ensures that you receive priority for upcoming litters based on your breed and color preferences.

Waitlist Fee: AED 1500

A non-refundable deposit secures your place in line for your chosen breed. This demonstrates your commitment and seriousness about adopting a kitten from Zoe's Kittens.

Payment

After submitting your Waitlist Form, request our payment details or use Western Union. The AED 1500 deposit will be fully applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten — it is not an extra fee.

Litter: Assignment

You will be initially assigned to a specific litter within your chosen breed based on your preferences (color, gender, temperament). If you do not find a suitable kitten during your visit, you may move to the queue for the next available litter of the same breed.

Queue: Order

Your queue number is determined by when your deposit is received — first come, first served. The earlier you join, the higher your priority for selecting from upcoming litters of your chosen breed.

Breed: Change

If you decide to switch to another breed later, your queue number will be adjusted to the end of the new breed's Waitlist. Your deposit will still be applied toward your final purchase.

Why is a commitment needed to join the Waitlist?

Raising kittens responsibly requires significant time, resources, and planning. A deposit ensures that we are working with serious, committed families who genuinely intend to adopt. It also helps us plan our litters responsibly and avoid overproducing kittens without confirmed homes.

Is the Waitlist deposit refundable?

The Waitlist deposit of AED 1500 is non-refundable. However, it is fully applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten. If you decide not to proceed with any kitten, the deposit cannot be returned, as it covers administrative costs and the reserved spot in our breeding plan.

How long is the wait?

Wait times vary depending on your position in the queue, your specific preferences (breed, color, gender), and our breeding schedule. On average, families wait between 2 to 6 months. We always keep waitlisted families updated on expected litter dates and will never leave you guessing.

How does the Waitlist and kitten selection work?

Once you join the Waitlist for your chosen breed with your deposit, you'll be assigned a queue number. When a litter becomes available, we contact waitlisted families in order. You'll have the opportunity to meet the kittens (in person or via video) and select the one that feels right for you. If none match your preferences, you remain on the list for the next litter of the same breed.

Is joining the Waitlist the only way to get a kitten from Zoe's Kittens?

While occasionally a kitten may become available outside the Waitlist, the vast majority of our kittens across all six breeds are reserved by waitlisted families. Joining the Waitlist is the most reliable way to secure your place and ensure you don't miss out on upcoming litters.

What if I don't feel a connection with any kittens in the assigned litter?

That's completely okay! We want every match to be perfect. If you don't feel a connection with any kittens in your assigned litter, you can move to the queue for the next available litter of the same breed. Your deposit and queue position remain secure — you simply wait for the right kitten to come along.
